Directions for Finisher's Formula

Finisher's Formula was developed to polish as well as feed your furniture. When your furniture is dry or has been neglected for years it usually needs to be fed. Before applying, you shoud make sure that the piece is clean. We recommend using Murphy’s Oil Soap, which works great on most pieces. Test on an unseen portion on the furniture first to make sure that it does not dissolve the finish. When cleaning furniture, one should always do this with all cleaners. Aerosol cleaners tend to spot and decay some finishes due to the silicates and other chemicals that are used in them. After your piece is clean and dry, apply Finisher's Formula with a soft cloth (terry cloths work great.) Apply Finisher's Formula to your cloth and wipe liberally when feeding your furniture, antique piece, or another product made of fine wood. After piece has been fed take a second lint free cloth and buff to warm glow.

Directions for Finisher's Touch

Finisher's Touch was produced to compliment Finisher's Touch polish and feeder. You can use it on both your wood and antique furniture. Apply both products: first wipe down with Finisher's Formula using the directions seen above; then wipe dry and apply Finisher's Touch. Because of the wax proportions in Finishers Touch are more prominent, the harder you buff the greater the sheen. If you are using Finisher's Touch without Finisher's Formula, apply Finisher's Touch with a soft cloth and rub with the grain. Use circular motions or wipe in a figure 8 motion to apply. Next take a clean lint free cloth and buff.

Finisher's Formula and Finisher's Touch are both non-toxic and solvent free which make them wonderful for people with chemical sensitivities. They are environmentally safe.
